RCCR&R's Smart Start Initiative

Project Goals:
    

  • Familiarize one, two and three star family child care homes with the early certification process.
  • Provide a self assessment of one, two and three star family child care homes participating in the project.
  • Develop an education plan for increasing education points on the two component star rated license from current point level to 5 point level.
  • Establish cohort learning communities as a support network for one, two and three star family child care home providers in Guilford County.
